About us
Ground Zero Ministries is a Canadian non-profi that aims to serve the homeless population of Abbotsford, British Columbia, in meaningful ways that show love and bring dignity for all—without judgement.
We provide food and essential supplies for the unhoused, as well as haircuts for the homeless.
Our story
We take our name for the informal name given to the largest homeless encampment in Abbotsford, on Lonzo Road behind the Wal-Mart. Ground Zero is where we began and it’s where we continue to help others.
We believe that hope, dignity, and true life-long transformation begins at ground zero, the site of our greatest need.
